Research Agronomists, Northern and Southern Wheatbelt WA
Full time positions exist for Research Agronomists who will be predominantly responsible for conducting field research trials. This will involve all aspects of trial management including site selection, sowing, spraying, assessment, harvest data analysis and interpretation, and the writing of research reports.
The position will provide an ongoing challenge of learning new products and technologies within an extremely rewarding team environment. The role will involve the need to work closely with both industry experts and the general farming community.

Position Requirements
Applicants should:
- Possess a strong desire to contribute to the increased productivity and profitability of agriculture in Australia.
- Have a suitable degree/certificate in a related field or relevant agricultural experience.
- Enjoy a combination of indoor and outdoor work.
- Be prepared to work unsupervised as well as in a team environment.
- Demonstrate initiative and be self-motivated.
- Have a high level of written and oral communication skills.
- Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia.
Salary
An attractive salary commensurate with experience will be negotiated with the successful applicant. The base of location will also be negotiated depending on the successful applicant’s preference.
